Part of Weird Al's problem after "Smells Like Nirvana" was that he was releasing parodies that were actually less ridiculous than the originals. With "Lump" and "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)," he even picked songs that could be mistaken for him. This was an aesthetic mistake almost as crippling as the loss of his accordion.

I'm pretty sure his last album had accordian on it, maybe you meant to say "the loss of his mustache."
Oh, I meant "accordion," and while I question the presence of the instrument outside of his exemplary (and mandatory) polka medleys, I will assume you know more about the contents of Poodle Hat than I.
